Web Design - Anatomy of a web page

Here is one website i particularly like and i hope for my finish website in June to look a little like this. Very simple, not to full, easy to understand and quite ascetically pleasing. Any potential clients would not be put off and would have greater confidence in the photographer after visiting this website.

good research websites

For my website i will have to consider many different fonts and layouts, I will use research and development to get my final chosen font type, here are some examples i found quite useful. I really like the plain white font on the red transparent background this look very professional and not to hard to achieve.

that I thought had a good sense of colour running though them but all have a very different theme. The Rankin website really catches my eye but is probably more likely to with the amount of money spent on the design of the website (which is what is expected by a international photographer).

image from a recent shoot for rush hairdressers. Shot using the hasselblad, this gave me a chance to try out different lighting techniques, which i will be using in the text to image short project for the studio section of my final images. This also the first time i linked up my flickr account to show images on this blog, which is saving time and is also increasing my photography views traffic.
I am considering using this for one of my images on my website homepage because like the darkness of the photograph and would be good for contrasting.
